Did you have any issues with the VQ35HR + VQ37VHR crank w/ big cams? My motor was recently assembled (35HR w/ VQ37 crank) and GTM stage 2 turbo cams (272's)

Did you have any issues with the VQ35HR + VQ37VHR crank w/ big cams? My motor was recently assembled (35HR w/ VQ37 crank) and GTM stage 2 turbo cams (272's) and the valves are making contact with the pistons when trying to rotate it.
Granted there's a lot more back story behind the motor that I won't bother with at the moment, but did you have any issues getting your engine combination of the swap + tall cams to work. What cams did you go with? What pistons did go with and any custom specs/mods done? |
