Mitco39's Build

So it turns out that the stock gauge power wire will not power the 3 PLX gauges. On a related note, anyone know what fuse powers the stock gauges? Lol.

So it turns out that the stock gauge power wire will not power the 3 PLX gauges. On a related note, anyone know what fuse powers the stock gauges? Lol. I checked a few down on the drivers side panel, but they all seemed good. I guess I'll have to pull out the voltmeter. Haha

Maybe under the hood at the IPDM?

If I remember correctly the Instrumention BCM controls the power to the meters and there is no seperate fuse for the triple meter.

I ran a switched power supply from the under dash fuses and used a "add a fuse" connector from PA or CT for my instrumentation power supplies.

Uhoh, well I hope I didnt **** anything up then. Everything else continued to work just fine, I just lost power at that wire. Off to the service manual I go.

What do you mean by a "add a fuse" connector? I was going to probably just run a relay system, but this might be easier.

Check out the electrical section at PA or CT and they are there. Simple easy solution
for adding extra fused power sources.

I did put the bumper on last night as well as the front sway endlinks, took some pictures for you trollers as well . I have 0 leaks after running it so now while I am waiting for the racelogic I will finish up the exterior, I bought the Adams starter kit, so the car will be getting clayed and waxed and ready to get all dirty.

Dirty bumper back on







Getting close, gotta finish up the engine bay then just electronics. Once the snow is gone I am going to drive the car out to my parents farm and lift it up in the air (without a lift ) and go to town on replacing the clutch and flywheel. I have to get this done with enough time left to drive it enough to get through the break in period for the dyno at the beginning of may.
