I was able to reduce the rotor temp by at least 100° from my R/C Car Temperature gun. I would think the hotter you push the car's brake, the more you'll reduce.

Under hard braking in my last track day, my front rotors (stock - not cross drilled) read ~285° after a cool down lap.

Compared to my buddies that drove under the same condition with a:
2008 E92 M3 (Cross Drilled Rotors) - his front front rotors reading 390°
2008 350Z (Not sport Brakes) - over 400°+, my temp gun couldn't read anything over 400°.
