I really wanted to get this installed before I put the turbo in (less parts to remove) and the shop I wanted to go to closed last fall (SG Motorsports) to focus on racing. Hopefully it all works out next spring. *fingers crossed*

Hi Galeforce, have you installed your boost and AFR gauges yet? If so, any pics of the install? I was thinking of using an a-pillar pod for AFR and EGT and the stock clock location for boost.

Thanks for the photos! (that was quick)
You weren't kidding when mentioning doing a lot of the work and fab'ing yourself. I was hoping we can just use an Autometer dual pod that would fit nicely, but that might be too easy ![]() Can't wait to see it finished. Last edited by hughdogz; 11-25-2012 at 09:14 PM. |

Yes, a pre-made pod(s) will be much easier. I tried a mockup similar to using a gauge pod and wasn't happy with the results. Going a full custom build I am able to maximize my vision of the gauge and minimize the obstruction of view out.

Joe at Zspeed told me that the clutch install is straight forward, I don't know why shops have problems bleeding them. I would have installed it myself if I had a lift... Anyhow, this takes me back to the reason why I need/have to do all of my own work.

I would bet it has something to do with taking time to bleed it properly, but the shops just want to sling the cars in and out.
