Small update. Finally wrapped the Top Secret b pillars in satin black 3m vinyl and installed them. I was hoping to install the gt spec strut bar today but couldn't. That'll have to wait a week.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately the satin black shows the flaws in the gel coat. Nothing crazy though.

Harnesses and tow strap are in. Had a last minute change of heart... decided against Luke harnesses.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger on my "new" suspension setup today. I spent a lot and I mean ALOT of time debating between bags and a coilover and aircup setup. In the end I just couldn't give up handling performance, after all this car is made for performance. So I bought a set of lightly used Stance coils and a lightly used Phantom air cup kit. The coils are sitting at Platinum VIP right now waiting on the cups to arrive so they can re-machine them and mount them to the coils... I’m very excited!!! If I’m lucky I'll have everything back by December 23rd, that way I can spend my whole week of PTO installing the system.
I’ve also been debating whether or not I should get an air pressure gauge for new system. I found one that I think would fit very nicely in the spot where seat heater switches are (need to measure when I’m back in Cincy). What does everyone think? Phantom told me a gauge isn’t necessary since you don’t drive around with air in the kit, but I’d feel better with one. Man I can't wait to see this! I've been considering the air motion kit. I'm worried about wear all the air equipment will go in the car. Curious where you mount things.

Nearly two weeks after I ordered it, PWJDM finally shipped my carbon fiber cooling plate. Im concerned about the fitment and finish, but hopefully I can figure something out. I already talked to Carbon Fiber Element and he said he can strip the crappy gel coat and reclear it for me, so I'll do that later this winter.
Phantom also has the cups and coils to complete my suspension, unfortunately the springs that come with the stance coils are too thick for the cups so I had to order new swift springs for the front. Im hoping I can get everything back by the week of Christmas to start the install. Oh I've listed my suspension and wheels for sale as well. Here's a link if anyone is interested. http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...ml#post2603434 |
Can't wait to see!

Man...I thought you'd do something very different when you put your wheels up for sale. These look very similar.

Yeah. Both wheels look great! I just thought you might go a different direction and was eager to see something new! . When I make my wheel choice I think I'm going to stick with a mat blk or gray. I always get worried colors like the bronze might go out of favor at some point. Although, if you only keep your wheels for a year or two this is not an issue. Lol

I can most likely help with a set of Forgelines, They have some great looking and VERY nice wheels. Lots of color options also, They are local to us and I have dealt with them previously. http://www.forgeline.com/product_ima..._image-820.jpg

Gotta stick with Work Wheels. Ive had two sets and I've loved them both. Mark we'll be talking as soon as I sell my GS4s and after Cincinnati Cavalcade is over.

Finally got my calipers on and my car back on the ground. Feels good to make some progress. I also had time to test fit the GT Spec Strut bar and I'm taking it to paint soon. I'll post pics of the install and a write up soon. I went a different route than others and cut individual holes in the interior panel for each bar, it makes it look like the car came that way, however I cracked one of the interior panels and being the perfectionist I am I'm looking to replace it. A note to others considering this bar, it's perfect for a harness bar. I test fitted my Takatas on it.
Oh I also received my PWJDM cooling plate... It's terrible. Worse than others have documented. Now I have to deal with their terrible customer service and have to file a Paypal claim. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/a5aty8ej.jpg Cooling Plate: http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/e4y3adet.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/ry8ypuvy.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/3e9uqege.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/5e6u3ama.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That is just a shame with the cooling plate. They actually thought they could pass that off on someone :shakes head:
I need to get my calipers to Mike at some point before Spring. Only issue is I dunno what color to go with since my wheels are FZero blue. That purple looks awesome! |
