Indeed I am, for now.

Some new progress photos.

Slowly prepping the car for the cage install.

Got the door glass removed and a method to install/remove it when needed.

All of the airbags are gone now, next up is the A/C system.

Big props. Keep going.

How did you do the windows to install and remove? I ask to see if there is a quick method?

You see how I cable tied the larger (rear most) bracket to the door?

I also removed the inner felt seal.

Now all I have to do is drop the glass in, the front edge slides in to the front clamp, then screw the bolt into the rear clamp and tighten the front.

It's easier with another person to hold the glass while you put the bolt in with a drill, but it can be done solo without too much drama.

Then when you get to your event, loosen the front bolt, remove the rear, pull the glass out.

Oh hey Spohn, do you have any details on the step by step you used to do your hood pins? I really want to ditch the stock latches and stuff.

At the moment, the only competitive events I do are autocrosses with the BMW and Porsche clubs.

They're generally long, fast courses better suited to the Z than some of the other organizations' events.

I also plan on trying the PCA Time Trials events, where they set up a course similar to an Auto-X course and do flying laps.

It'll be a while before I do any competitive on-track driving.

How I'm handling door pulls and whatnot.

It looks like a mess, but it seems to be pretty sturdy and can be quickly revised or replaced, while weighing practically nothing.

The pull strap goes through the door panel that will be installed tonight or tomorrow.

Ordered my quick release and AC delete belt.

Went with the NRG gen 2, couldn't justify paying a lot more for a later generation.

Starting a little intake manifold project tonight as well as finalizing measurements for the seat install.

Maybe get around to finishing the door cards as well.. maybe..
