The fitting angles can be tricky, I went through half a dozen iterations before I was satisfied.

Finished my oil catch cans today. I used left over stainless -8AN hose I had from my diff cooler project. If anyone wanted to use the same Espeeder catch cans with brained -8AN hose. The fitting that screws into the can is a 16mmx 1.5 thread. I got mine from Jegs.

Had to change the back-up light switch. It went back. Noticed it when the back-up camera didn't come on all the time. sometimes it would work, others it wouldn't. When it just quit all together at Madwi's place. The switch is a PITA to get to. You have to drop the tranny cross member. Replace a bracket that has 3 bolts in it. One which is hidden. Undo the wiring harness clips. Then use a 22mm deepwell socket on the switch.

1st pic. Cross member removed and jack holding the tranny up.

2nd pic. Wrench on the hidden bolt.

3rd pic. Pointing to the hidden bolt hole.

4th pic. The switch in the tranny.

5th pic. The hole where the switch goes.

6th pic. The new and old switches.

Rusty, I really enjoyed talking to you in person and seeing your Z. I wasn't sold on my Finite Element fender vents until I seen your car in person. 100% happy I have them now.

Remember to cut holes in the fender liners, and use window screen to cover the holes.

It's so nice to put a face on a name.

I checked my catch cans today. I found very little oil in them. So I was wondering if I was pulling a vacuum through them. So I pulled out the dip sticks and put a vacuum gauge in the holes. Hot idle, I was pulling 10 inches of vacuum in each can. Wonder what everyone is getting? At least I know that they are working.
