I have been checking mine also with the new build. I get nothing also so far. The Radium Catch Cans have dipsticks you can check to see if you need to drain them.

Although mine don't have a lot of blow by built up, they are catching it. Are you using any sort of filter media? I put small balls of steel wool in the baffles. That helps to collect it as it enters the can.

I have stainless steel wool in the cans.

How many miles have you put on the car since you installed the cans?

There's over 6,000 miles since I installed them. Took a trip to Madwi's place for the 4th of July. From there, to Denver, to Bloomfield MN, to Keys Ok, then to home. At times, I was running over 100 mph on the interstates. :driving:

Up-date on my oil catch cans. Have a little over 6,000 miles on them since the install. I pulled them apart today. Measured the amount of oil in each can. The left can had about 3/4 oz of oil in it. The right can had about 1/4 oz of oil in it. I don't think that's bad at all.

My cans have dip sticks in them. So I measured how much oil it would take to read on the dip sticks. It would take 1.5 oz to just hit the stick. And 2 oz of oil it get to the first line. That leaves me a lot of room.

I just had my drivers side dipstick read with a little on the stick. I let it idle and warm up before I moved it to be washed and then to get it in the trailer. I normally get it up to temp via driving it a good ways. I guess the idling in the cold caused some condensation issues.

When your 1st motor let go. I was wondering if anything got into your catch cans.

I didn't have any catch cans on the first motor. Slipped my mind. I never just let the car idle. I always crank up and go.
I guess I have been doing it right for years.

Yeah, Jay gave me the evil eye about it Friday. I knew I needed to fix it. I have been procrastinating. LOL Seb is hooking me up with 2 plugs for the intake manifold where the PVC's would normally run too. I got the new fittings for the PVC delete ordered. I just need to upgrade to 10AN lines. I may be ordering stuff from Pegasus to get this done. We shall see.

Hey Russ, what are the full plans for the Z this winter? Still thinking about a clutch kit?

Just going to do maintenance this winter. Might do one or two things yet. The 4th gauge and a top hat for the fuel tank.

Plus I'm waiting on my custom valved King shocks for my truck. That's over 4 grand. And I just spent 7 grand for a rifle and scope. Think I spent enough for a while. :icon14:
