LSD action for sure, I could hear it working in the vid. The diff action is so much better than with the OEM LSD...if I had a 370Z, this would be my first mod.

Cheers,
Robert
PS: Thanks for the kind comments.

The diff cooler set up is almost done...all brackets finished, core and lines are done, just wainting for the pump. I think once you have finished the break in with 75W90 and we switch to Motul Gear 300 75W140 before your next track date...we should be fine, even without a cooler set up. That said, a cooler set up is still a must for your car.

Front camber: -2.00
Rear camber: -2.50
Front caster: +6.00
Front toe: 0.00
Rear toe: +0.10

More corner weight info later...

Better to be on the safe side, especially in 100+F

A couple more vids from today

... just a brief drive on highway
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSSkECiDLZM

... and this one is a left hand skid pad test... you can really hear the dif going to work... turn up your sound!!! pulsing the throttle a bit to see how it responds, not because I drive that way !
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOLxzzFEDhU

Finally, here's a graph of the g's over distance

Not really corner balanced yet, so left turns should be the weak point on the car... we'll see how it improves after more setup... and then the sticky tires will be on by end of june, and I'm hoping for over 1.2Gs left and right... for now, I'm happy to get sustained readings at 1.0G in left hand skid

All, one thing you'll notice about my setup is that we added +1.0 caster over stock (for 6.0 total)... this is based on recommendations from toyo to max out the caster, and also to get a bit more stability on straights and a bit more roll-induced negative camber... still on street tires, but the car feels good to me this way

Looks like thing are coming out pretty well. Loving the chasecam and the clutch is sounding like a must have.

travis is the clunking noise you hear at 00:39 for the first time and then stays the LSD at work?

youtube blocked from my current location, but yes I think so... keep in mind the chasecam mike is connected directly to the chassis and picks up noises from the diff 5x vs what you hear at ear level... it's not anywhere near THAT bad... but the LSD DOES make some noise...

Understood, thanks for clarifying. Is it a clunking noise, though? Later in the video there are other sounds that are a little more subtle, and maybe that's what it is and I am not discerning it properly...

probably best described as a low db 'chattering' noise... that is continuous

UPDATE: WE THINK MOST OF THE NOISE IS COMING FROM THE STILLEN EXHAUST... STARTING TO SAG SINCE INSTALL AND RUB... WILL UPDATE AGAIN ONCE WE VERIFY AND CORRECT

Ugh. Mine has never rubbed since the infamous 'torch it to red hot and bend it' fix in front of the flange, but that fix is proving to be a problem in its own right regarding the flanges no longer mating perfectly and thus causing recurring leaks (I only mention this in case either of you are thinking of doing the same. I'm not sure it's a great idea anymore).
