Anyway, enough thread jacking. Back to the subject.
lol i lived in SFL for a while, my brother in law bought a house built in 2005 in 2010 for less than half what it cost in 2005. I'm sure it's back up to 2005 level now, but it'll drop back down here before too long, just how it goes down there.

Back on topic...

Travis, post pictures of your car for Christ's sake!

You guys probably saw these pics of the new C7.R prototype... the rear diffuser is interesting and I may try to replicate. Looks like six attach points and should form a nice 7-9 degree angle from the rear axle / underbody tray. Wonder if they allow any air to get in above it - other than the air coming off rear wheel wells?

Definitely an interesting design. Looks like they are letting air get in, but it might go through some heat exchangers first or something.

could be. although the c6 had the heat exchangers exit through license plate area, and i can see that there are two such vent openings in that area on this car... so guessing it is just open area. would appreciate if anyone can find / pls post here any more detailed pics.

it may also be they have some air flowing over cooling fins on the rear diff casing and whatever else.

as a side note, at least for this prototype, from the looks of it they are using the same 3/8 plastic 'boat board' that I've been using for my front splitter... it's heavy for a car like this, but maybe fine for them given they prob have a min weight to meet

thanks man

so my dyno runs came back
Map 1: Max HP 398.29 Max Tq 315.57
Map 2: Max HP 393.47 Max Tq 313.27
Map 3: Max HP 373.53 Max Tq 313.98

My NASA min weight for TT2 with big tires will therefore be 3,191 lbs coming hot off the track (spent fuel with driver and gear)... may have to ballast just a little

Thanks guys - as I said before CIN is a great shop and recommend them to anyone in the Carolinas...

Anyone going to CHIN Road Atlanta or next NASA VIR can see it in person... otherwise can read through these 124 pages for the details... I may come in here and do an updated spec sheet and video walkthrough at some point but that's not high on my list right now sorry
