Chuck, that's awesome! What's Nick going to do now? I texted you about the hub rings.

Why the wait on the install?

LTH, pulley (again) and possibly gears. I have no idea what im doing really. I also need to sell this condo and get into a house with a nice garage. That's a bigger priority to me over boost, I must be getting old.

Congrats on going FI Chuck! :driving:

Do u know who the other kid that drives around a supercharged white 370 around here?

chuckd05 08-11-2011 03:28 PM

I met a guy in a white with the orange leather one day at performance... he came from vinny ten racing.. it made pretty decent power, i think like 450hp and he has the smaller impellar and no long tube headers... im concerned i may loose a little boost with the long tubes but as long as my tune is safe and I am over 425 whp I will be more than happy...

Haven't updated here in a while... Purchased a 08 135i

Did some mods including

Jb4 (piggyback tune)
Downpipes and exhaust
Intake charge pipe with blow off valve
M3 Convertible sway bar
And have a meth kit awaiting install.

I'll update with pics soon but here's a acceleration clip

The Beemer is def not as photogenic but it performs admirably.

damn, nice top end there :)

I like the turn signals as a shift light. Is that stock or a mod?

In for pics. I dig the 135s.

looks pretty quick, chuck. you should take it to etown soon before they close for the season!

what does a setup like that typically run?

chuckd05 10-28-2011 11:54 AM

The turn signal is part of jb4's integrated shift light

With radials with that setup I should be good for a 12.0-12.4 driven right. Automatics seem to be faster but I think it's because most people can't drive lol

If you look the gas gauge actually turns into a boost gauge as well. Oil temp turns to afr or timing or some other choices. It's pretty cool.

yeah the JB4 chip basically hijacks a bunch of functionality by tapping into the CAN bus, it's awesome stuff.
