There's a lot of those 135's and 335's down here at our local track, and they're usually pretty fast even with just street tires. |
I think ur Z was ride of the month in the Zmail from the zstore.com.
|
Mine ? Really ? Anyway I can see it?

Fixed - and what do they normally run. My meth kit is ready for install. If I can hook that up before wednesday it should net me an 11 sec pass in 55 degree weather With drag radials on Wednesday. Pending meth is complete and I figure the whole thing out. Everyone says how easy it is but I'm intimidated. Lol. But is virtually fail-safe with the jb4. |

Wow thanks man.
Makes me sad she's gone :( |
Anytime :tiphat:

Brought the 135 to the strip.... Was only able to get one pass after driving 2.5 hours there as it was very cold and three different cars crashed into the wall more than half way down the track :( They closed it after that leaving me screwed with just one run... the 120 trap makes me happy but the ET doesnt.. but with only having one run I launched and had way more traction than i thought i was going to have and bogged down where my street tires would of been up in smoke so i didnt know where to start, so one more run and I would of most likely been into the 11.8-9 area ...
MODS - JB4 Piggy Back Tune ($480), Dual Cone filters instead of intake box ($90), catless Downpipes and Exhaust ( used for $500 total, which was a steal from a local guy with same car, would be about 1500 new total ), and windshield wiper BMS meth kit ( $490 ) .... Nitto NT05R drag radials on 17x8.5 z4 wheels ($475) http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/...5/cf6c0e67.jpg phone pics of the car http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/...5/82e63ecb.jpg http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/...5/0a93c088.jpg http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/...5/47078b74.jpg still a Z in my house.... my bro who lives at my house, has a 350z so I can get my nissan fix when i feel like it, but now my bro was a 335 coupe so who knows... |
dang, 120 is very impressive considering how little is done to the car. those n54's are absolutely amazing.
|
Very nice chuck. Are those the same kind of drag radials u were running on the Z?
|
nice trap
|
Thanks, with this car I went with nt05r drag radials. They are a great tire. Been DD them for a month now. Traction issues are a non issue!
Car should have easily over 450tq and around 410-430hp on my custom Meth high boost map. It's def fun but I do miss the Z as well. I'd love a boosted Z but I grew not to trust the car enough to invest that much money :( |
Hey chuck car is looking real nice I like it in red and u r gettin great times
|
Chuck, a while back I pick up a German aswell. 08 Audi rs4.
|
Dropped the 135i with some springs for now ....
So far i did dual cone filters, Helix Front Mount, 3inch catless downpipes, agency power midpipe, put my stock rear exhaust section back on, and the meth kit... With newest JB4 firmware the car is running phenomanal... I couldn't ask for any more performance per $ spent with this car.. it surprises me every time I bump into cars that i thought were out of my league... I handled a modded m5 with ease leaving the m5 owner in shock and awe, lol.... I do miss my Z though as the looks and overall feel of the car were also an excellent combination... I still say if i boosted my Z it would be the perfect car but money and trust in my cars reliability forced me to go the BMW route... Still on here all the time checking the site out... Possibly one day I will get a white Nismo and GTM TT it , if some of the FI builds pumping out close to 550-600 last a good while... just signed up for a premium membership again too, this site rocks !
