To gloss. The painter just said it would be easier to go all the way down so I said what the hell. The actual finish looks much better now though as it has no raised lines like the flat black did. In person it looks pretty damn good but so did the old one before it was sandblasted. Either way is fine with me. And docaam I'm not sure it looks better than the m3 but sure holds it own ! Thanks ! |

Looking good their, i won't some pics that the guy is taken. That PG amuse Z just throws me off everytime i see it, i just don't think it looks right on the stock wheels. Of course i shouldn't talk as i'm all stock.:roflpuke2:

^Agreed, some spacers would help it a lot. I definitely think Chuck's Z is the best looking out of those three Zs, love the way the painted fangs, dark headlights and darker wheels look against PW.

I have a few other pics of the Z with the amuse kit. I agree on atleast spacers but kits a ton of money maybe Hes waiting for wheels. I didn't talk to him
Much at the meet. The 40th in those pics has stillen sides and shine rear and is pretty darn nice too. I love his Z too. Check my album for other shots in the LI Z meet album. And as always thanks for the kind words. EDIT - Some other shots I took that day of other Z's http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...use-z-rear.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...-40th-side.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...-40th-rear.jpg |

Lol that's Nicks. Esfourteen. You'd swear the two pieces are part of the same kit. He's just undecided about a front lip. You have the Evo r right ? Evo r looks much better in darker cars IMO.

I recently installed a bazooka 6.5 inch 250 watt Amplified Bass tube... I needed some bass for my base system to add to my Polk components.. It did the trick perfect.. In the car with my decks EQ I have one setting where you get more than enough bass, and one custom setting that is subtle bass where one wouldn't even assume I have anything more than a stock system that actually has bass... Its perfect for when I am alone and want extra bass or have passengers that I will be BSing with without being drowned out by bass at low volumes.. It is not the cleanest bass, but its certainly enough to satisfy me.
Its exactly what I wanted... Its very loud and noticeable in my car but outside NOTHING vibrates and you cant even tell I have a system when I roll up. This is EXACTLY what i wanted... Its more than enough bass and its not intrusive or over the top... and I lost no hatch space at all!!! I'm def happy with how it turned out.. I ran an extra RCA and have a distribution block back there so I can eventually hook up an amp for my highs that I have. I am thinking about putting in the back rear passenger side of the hatch , Inside of the foam piece that I already notched out to make it fit. Since I did it, I store my quick detailer, microfiber towels, and window cleaner and its been very convenient.... so I may try to find another spot for the amp for my highs, lol... Regardless of that, right now it is drastic improvement over the stock system. The bass tube also only weighs 14 lbs so that is another plus... I also installed the XM adapter to my HU... (And please excuse the grossness of my hatch area.. I play A LOT of softball and the Z is my DD... If I ever were to sell it or stop using it as a DD I would have to get all new plastics and a new carpt.. The hatch is my locker for now!) http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...169-photo1.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...170-photo2.jpg I used an Rockford 8 gauge wire kit and ran it through the pre drilled hole on drivers side under dash and through the center console... You can snake the wire right behind the engine firewall to the drivers dide, and there is a small little hole under the clutch fluid assembly to put it through.. Automatics have much easier access to this hole. Worked out great.. http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...172-photo5.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...171-photo3.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/chuck...173-photo4.jpg |
Nice Chuck, those Bazookas can pack some serious bass! Looks like it fits very nicely too, how does it all sound?
|
Overall the sound is drastically improved from stock.. I have a full range of audio now and im very happy... the EQ on the pioneer seems to works awesome too because I can have it sound like no bass, avg bass , or a ton of bass from the custom settings...
Im very happy and spent less than 900 on HU, Speakers, and Bazooka tube.. Add XM and its just over that, but now I have Navi, XM, and great sound out of the base Z which stereo litteraly is a joke... lol |
