Yep, it sucks, but hopefully well worth the wait. Plus it gives me time to think about other things and if I choose to add another part at the time

Plus it gives me time to think about other things and if I choose to add another part at the time it can all get done at once.

Yeah its a bummer, but the company that will be mass producing the tips for Berk is the one with the delay so its out of Berk's hands.

Picked the car up from the body shop this morning and it looks perfect. Was busy all today putting our Project R56 Mini Cooper S back together but now that its done for the time being, tomorrow shifts focus back to the 370Z. BRIDE seats and NRG steering wheel/hub/quick release are on the schedule for tomorrow!

Incredibly frustrated right now. I have been dealing with the bolt from hell on the steering wheel. Would be too hard to explain without showing it, but basically one of the bolts holding in the airbag, which needs to be remove was not removeable by torx bit. Basically it escalated to the point where I needed to drill into the bolt and use a screw extractor. Then the screw extractor broke off in the bolt from hell. Now I have to go buy the hardest drill bit I can find to drill through the broken extractor piece and try again. After literally 6 hours of messing with the one bolt I gave up for the day. So the passenger BRIDE seat is in but thats it.

That definitely does not make me feel better. A nice steak dinner would make me feel better. Finding a $100 bill in my pocket would make me feel batter. Hearing that The Hills has been cancelled would make me feel much better, but you sir, just dampened my mood even more because shoulder issues are gnarly and I feel bad for you if you are going through them.

Why thank you sir. Going to get a diamond carbide drill bit today to drill through the screw extractor that broke off inside the screw it was supposed to extract lol.

BRIDE Zeta III seats and NRG Innovations steering wheel hub/gen 2.5 quick release/deep dish steering wheel are in!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The seats fit perfectly and install was a snap! Due to time constraints I didn't transfer over the passenger seat weight sensor from the stock seat but plan on doing so after SEMA sometime The steering wheel should have been an easy install but a screwed up bolt on the stock wheel made it a pain in the ***. That, and somehow I lost the horn button that came with the wheel . Once I got the stock airbag/wheel off the car the install was a snap, except I do have one complaint that I will be discussing with NRG so they can fix this in the future. With their hub, you are not able to re-install the factory steering position sensor. This doesn't affect any of the driveability of the car but it does cause the VDC and Slip lights to come on the dash. I didn't think to try driving with the VDC on yet, which I should probably do, but I never drive with VDC on anyway. The fix is simple and hopefully they will make the change. Because the deep dish wheel/hub/quick release combo puts the steering wheel much closer to the driver it lets me get my optimal driving position. I was a bit worried that it would come out too far, but it is perfect!

The seats sit a bit lower than stock so headroom is better. It doesn't sit a whole lot lower than stock so some might think its the same, but when I was sitting in the stock driver's seat next to the BRIDE passenger seat, both installed in the car, it was definitely noticeable that the BRIDE seat sat lower. Probably 1-2". I do have my seats installed on the lowest setting by the way. There are two more height settings above where mine are.
