I need to upgrade my fuel system. Problem is it’ll want me to switch to corn and push for more power. I can’t get the power I have to the ground so what’s the point for more.

My whole plan is to be ~500. Like you said, if you just spin the tires, whats the point of having the power. We have 93 here so I just plan on running that unless I want to get crazy in a few years and make the switch to corn. That be a ways down the road when I will want to up the boost for fun or to make the car a bit different and not get bored with it.

Good plan. Houston has good 93 so no issues with gas quality. Trust me 500whp and what’ll be 400-430wtq is enough to play with. Four years in and it still puts a smile on my face everytime the turbo spools up out of the driveway.

I am pretty excited. Can't wait until the car has some power to match its looks.
Something I need to look into is a HPDE and some track time to get my driving level up. Learning the car all over is going to be a big priority.

JC and I work in a similar fashion. We are not very fast at doing jobs but they are done correctly before moving on. I have a big to do checklist that I cross items off of. Everything will absolutely get a second and third look over before I feel confident in hitting the starter.

Filled coolant and oil. This was a pretty nerve wracking moment. I actually had to go through the suspense a couple times as I didnt set the clutch pedal sensor correctly. Had two small leaks after running the car for a bit. Buttoned those up and it seems to be good for now.

I gotta say thanks to everyone who helped with this build. Lots of stupid questions and doubt along the way from me :icon17:
Special thanks to JcHammond. I would have never tackled the transmission and fuel system work without him. In the process I learned a ton of information about the car and processes from JC. Thanks my duuude.

Don’t be fooled; he did a lot as well,,,including running to the store for food/beverages & provided some quality tools to work with...certain jobs definitely required 2-people & was great to work with  There were times that I had questions & he would get answers :ugh2: the computer “Geek” part...including uploading ECUTek programming & Datalogging :icon14::icon14:

I am much more confident with the tech/wiring side of things and didnt want to get in the way, too many cooks in the kitchen, if you will. If I had to do this all over again, I think I could do it by myself sans the transmission/clutch/flywheel items. The turbo kit turned out to be very simple, Its just a small jigsaw puzzle with pipes. The fuel pump/basket stuff was sketchy as hell and I'd rather not get into it again if I don't have to :icon17:

Ran the wires and sensors for boost and afr gauges today with help from EW. I ordered a t fitting for the vacuum hoses to be spliced in and that should complete everything for the gauges.
