Update: Port work is done!!! Now just waiting on the motor to get into que with the motor shop... Then it's time to determine the new rod lengths and Pistons to run. Will be running 10:1 or 10.5:1 compression and a square setup with the 96mm x 96mm setup. This should be a very strong setup.

Finalized on the SuperTech black nitrate valves and increasing the size to at least 1mm possibly 1.5mm depending on our piston choice.

The port work took about 2mm out of the intake side and 4mm out of the exhaust side... Combine this with the new 1.03 AR housings I just received we can expect the new setup to bring the PAIN!!!

I will say this... I don't think I am ever going to go this balls out on a car again... Too much money and down time to truly enjoy the car.

Still debating on the roll cage I want to run... And I may pick up Wiggins new wheels lol

When I was young and dumb. I enjoyed tearing cars aparts, and redoing them like you. But as I got older. My thinking changed. I think things out more, and spend less money on them now.

If I were to do the build again I think I could do it for a third of what I have spent. I have spent soo much money on this platform and done this build for the third time! Others like CarbonZ know what I am talking about. It's insane how much you spend in labor... This round I am saving at least $5k doing a lot of the work myself. It really is an addiction. I mean some of you guys are friends with me on Facebook and know I can have anything Motorsports related or else it's getting modded...

Take my new Kawasaki SXR 1100. It's a bad mother F'er able to do 60mph on the lake. I just bought new 42mm triple carb setup and this winter I am breaking it down to modify the hull and redo the motor... Why? So I can kick my father in laws 1200cc Turbo Couch in a standing drag race... Why? Because I can and I am an alpha personality lol...

Luckily my Jeep SRT is staying stock even though I want to SC it lol and for once my wrangler rubicon has stayed stock for the last 5 years which is the longest I have ever gone without modifying a car...

Been there done that with a 1969 VW Beetle. I spent a ton of money but I did do all the work myself except for the tranny build. Lost a fiancé due to that car. Oh well, I got a better wife now. I do still have the car, it looks like crap now. I went back to school and then got married. Everything car wise went on the back burner. The wife keeps asking me if I am going to do another car. ( My 1975 280zt or my 1969 VW Beetle) I keep telling her she doesn't want me to start due to all the money that will fly out the door. I told her how much money I want to spend on my Nismo for a TT kit and motor build. Her mouth dropped open. I can't help it. I need boost. My 370z will be done eventually.
I feel your pain.
