The thing about carbon fiber wheels is they crack very easily. Motorcycle Riders experienced the same issue. HRE I believe has discontinued their full carbon fiber wheels due to this

The thing about carbon fiber wheels is they crack very easily. Motorcycle Riders experienced the same issue. HRE I believe has discontinued their full carbon fiber wheels due to this as well. They released a line back in 2012 but have since go away with the full carbon fiber line up due to several issues.
Carbon Fiber is weird.. It is indeed very strong but certain impact can cause it to break.
