So after a 1 year sabbatical, I'm ready to hit the Dragon again.

haha I miss you too sir

with your extensive experience on the dragon and my minimal experience, I was thinking I may steal you for a run. just see if you can spot areas to improve and whatnot. that is if weather cooperates unlike last years never ending rain when I had time to run the dragon. also i'm going a day early this year and will be arriving early Wednesday not Thursday.

Well it's been 2 years for me, so the first few runs I'll be getting reacquainted with the road, also in a completely different car this time lol. If you're getting down there earlier in the week, I'll probably do some more scouting runs solo to get a feel for the car and how she behaves, especially through quick transition corners.

Steve is probably the better person to consult though. He's like Vettel out there lololol

maybe Wednesday we can all go out for run whenever I get there and drop my stuff off/unload the Z

I do well out there so far but I figured following a few people with much more experience I can pick up some knowledge.

Fast group runs in the morning, so if you want to follow be at the general store by 7am sharp.

wed. I'll probably be arriving around 8-9am I would guess so that's out but I figured being a day earlier than the majority will be pretty clear on the dragon right?

depending on what I end up doing (drinking) wed will determine my attendance at 7am on Thursday morning

The dragon is clear every morning around 7AM. You will be able to get clear, fast runs in on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings if you go early.

Z1NONLY leads the fast group. Everyone kind of sorts themselves out after the first run and lines up in order of speed.

very nice. I really don't think I've been alive that early at zdayz so far lol

but with my lightened drinking as of late I may actually be human this year and partake.

but I make no guarantees

I'd like to get out there nice and early before traffic starts building up. That way if I botch a downshift, nobody is around to hear it. :|

i dont have to worry about that part

well the missed shift part. hearing me though is another aspect. I always get the rosa parks treatment because im too loud
