Steve, I hope you know me well enough to trust what I say. That said, you shouldn't listen to everything to see on the media (since when are they out to tell the truth, anyway?).

I haven't been following the media too much either. Regardless, the media is still going to report what they think they know and the blitherings he spouts out (true, or false), with no vetting done at all (because they can't, of course). That is modern media: report first, vet later.

So my point remains the same.

I don't mean to be blunt, but the "$200k a year job" (LAUGHABLY high for a BAH contractor that is only a network admin, btw - he really only made about $120K which is shit-money for a BAH contractor in Hawaii. Here, that'd be something like 80-90K in this area...which is beans for them) has been disproven already.

"Network Admin" can mean a lot of things. It's a very adaptable position title. Ive seen guys with that title that setup network equipment all day and ive seen guys with that title who do intrusive monitoring and network penetration stuff. Just saying...

It's compartmentalized info. Unless you have hands in SIGINT you're unlikely to know more than the average person
