I thought about a 275/35 square setup but don't really want to fit the widest-spec on the front and the smallest-spec on the rear. That's going to lead to some funky sidewall behavior. I'm actually running 245 square on my winter wheels (base 18x8 and 18x9s) and don't particularly like the feel... the front sidewall rolls a lot more than the rear does. 265/35 and 285/35 should have roughly the same sidewall behavior front and rear. With the power you have I'd want to run more rear tire. 265/285 RE11s would probably be pretty good, however you might need more rear tire yet. 265/35 305/30 RE11s work fine, but you would need to work to get your balance closer to neutral (front/rear bar, alignment, etc). I think ideally I would run a 19x10 front and 19x11 rear.

![]() I'm looking forward to it. I'll probably put the MAZOC prep thread up in January. Have a few things to run by you and Steve.

Registration doesn't open until 1 January so that works out fine. This give folks something good to think about in the cold time of the year. I'm anxious to get back to ZDayZ.

FWIW the PSS is going to look a little meatier. Both front Re11 and PSS have a 271mm section width, but the PSS with it's square shoulders has a full 10mm more measured tread width than the RE-11 (254 to 243ish).
The rear is similar. Roughly the same section width but the Super Sport has a measured tread width of around 285mm to the RE-11's 265ish. Now, there is no standard for measuring tread width, but this all means the PSS should be visually wider than the RE-11, all thanks to the square vs. round sidewall.

This has given me some food for thought...My fronts are getting pretty low(3-4/32)...luckily im not driving the car so its not a concern but I am wondering if 275 is too much up front. The plan was to rotate me still meaty rears to the front and put either 275s or 305s in the rear. I just couldn't find much info on anyone with stock rays running 275/305. I would love to run 4 18x10.5 RFP1s or SA55Ms.

If you are still on the Potenzas you can fit a 305 RE050A on the stock rear wheels. Probably 285/305 to keep you in spec.

I think it would look just fine. You might be better off going 275/35 for the fronts, though. 285 is probably going to be a little too tall.
This is what a 305/30/19 PSS looks like on a 10.5" rim: ![]() (forum member "zero")

PSS is a great choice. That's what I'd go with.

They had a $70 rebate promotion that ended yesterday. I'm sure it will be back in another month or two.
