Nismo is ~3300 curb weight iirc. Am I absolutely positively going to need new wheels or can I get by with better/stickier tires?

You can get by, but you just won't be able to put your foot in it as much as you would with more rubber.

I certainly wouldn't want a stock suspension NISMO with FI, though. If I was doing it I'd be on KW V3s and some meaty tires.
