I read through the last 5 pages and just confused myself haha, so initially is everyone still meeting in the same spot then the groups are going about their separate ways?

Yep. We have one group going to have lunch at Todai, then head off to Columbia Mall to watch Superman. A second group will break to go have lunch at a BBQ stand near Rt. 15, then head off to Chrysalis Vineyards.

Z Stig 06-21-2013 09:06 AM

I'll be at the meet tomorrow, but I'm out for Todai... I don't do seafood. Enjoy and I'll meet up with those going to Man of Steel in Columbia.

Milla Time 06-21-2013 09:08 AM

Thanks for the clarification! So the initial spot is still Starbucks? I'm in the same boat as one of the other guys in that my GF is tagging along so I'll be forced doing something she wants lol

Todai is a mix of seafood and land food.

Yep, the initial meet location is our standard Starbucks spot.

BTW, you should sign up to officially join the club! Membership | Mid-Atlantic 370Z Owners Club

Do the wine tasting after the meet with us... Most significant others enjoy that and she can get to know some of the other ladies.

m4a1mustang 06-21-2013 09:32 AM

See now I want to go to the winery, but I already bought tix to Superman. :icon17:

That sounds like my best bet. I saw Superman already =\ If you guys didn't know there is a wine and beer festival in Alexandria that day too.

Not this weekend. I'll be going to see the movie. Steve pointed out that they have some "land food" there also, so I might go to Todai after all.

I will be on the winery tour (not cruiZe ;) ) next weekend though.

Yeah if you aren't into seafood, there is lots of chicken and beef dishes. Cristobal was reluctant to go at first too... then he ended up going every weekend and gained like 20 pounds.

I hated sushi before I went to Todai...now I eat it literally every day.

I thought I would hate Todai when I first heard about it back when I first started....I then went literally every weekend for 6 months afterwards. I gained 20lbs. I just recently lost most of it though.

When I first went I didnt even eat any soosh, they have tons of other stuff to eat.

I wish I could dig up the posts showing how reluctant I was to go, it was pretty funny.

So yeah....its pretty good.

So in short, you didn't care for it at first, but now you do. :icon14:

Back on topic. Looking forward to seeing everyone again tomorrow

Broke down?? :(

b1adesofcha0s 06-22-2013 08:46 AM

Didn't break down, we just stopped to take pics because it was so beautiful. That was right next to Jennings Randolph Lake. I'm staying at Deep Creek Lake for the weekend. Designed a 50 mile loop for cruising yesterday and my cousin and I went to scout it. Going baxk there today with more people.

b1adesofcha0s 06-22-2013 08:55 AM

I think this would be an awesome place for a MAZOC weekend. It's kind of like ZDayZ, but without the Dragon. There are plenty of nice roads though and plenty of activity for non-drivers as well.

Z Stig 06-22-2013 09:22 AM

Schedule got all screwed up for me this weekend, so I am not going to make the meet. Hope to make the movie this afternoon. :icon14:

dmhenderson 06-22-2013 11:45 AM

We got up early to get ready and take care of the dogs, sat down on the couch aaaaaand we fell asleep and it's 3 hrs later.

Welp. I guess we'll do Randy's wine cruise thing next weekend. Hope you guys didn't wait too long :/

Hey, there are some Drunkards missing in that pic. :icon17:

Great seeing everyone at FFX, great turnout. Nice checking out Jay's new Stang and Chris' EVO. Many thanks to Randy for setting up the Winery trip, it was a blast.

ZCarMan 06-22-2013 07:34 PM

Patricia and I enjoyed the Fairfax meet this morning and see so many cars turnout! It was great to meet Jermaine and Scott as well. Patricia and I also enjoyed sharing some tasty BBQ for lunch and then some very good wines with everyone who made it out to Chrysalis Winery!

eastwest2300 06-22-2013 10:15 PM

Damn it, shame on me for missing out.

m4a1mustang 06-22-2013 11:36 PM

Just got back from Columbia.

The meet today was great. Thanks to everyone for coming out.

Todai was good, and Superman was pretty awesome. We had dinner at Union Jack's which was very good, then Dana, Vicster, and I stuck around to watch World War Z. It was actually pretty good.

Looking forward to the Wine Tour (not CruiZe) next weekend!

Also, great to see Whitney and Amar. Haven't seen them in quite some time.

This! All of it! I got home like ten minutes ago myself... would have been faster but I missed the "local" lanes on 495 and had to make a quick turn about in Alexandria. :P

Great day! I hope I get to do the wine thing next time... Italians love wine. :D

m4a1mustang 06-22-2013 11:48 PM

There is a wine tour next Saturday!

Vicster 06-23-2013 12:00 AM

Hmmm.. it doesn't look like I have anything on that ol' calendar for next Sat.

b1adesofcha0s 06-23-2013 02:14 AM
