The newer Grand Cherokees are great cars, but I would definitely not write-off Japanese cars just because of bad experience with arguably the least reliable brands, outside of Suzuki of course. Toyotas/Lexus are especially good. You good get a really nice used Sequoia or 4Runner for the price you mentioned and it would suit your needs very nicely.
Also congrats on the land, I'm jealous. The Ozarks are gorgeous, I go to Greers Ferry Lake in north central Arkansas and I hope to move there in a few years once I graduate college. I'm sure you will enjoy the heck out of it. How far from Shreveport is your land? I just to live in Atlanta, TX and it was like 6 hours from there to Greers Ferry, just curious if it is around the same distance. |
