Went out to the R/C track last night.

I think I've made the decision to get back into it. I'm going to research everything this week and make my final decision.

Had some golf lessons this morning (nice and warm out, I'm drained

) and am working towards fixing my slice. Made HUGE progress today! Tourney next weekend!

I also almost got pulled over, and I blame the SRM for getting the cops attention. It's habit to throw it into neutral to be quiet and coast, but noooo. SRM said, "5k rev match. GO!"

Just paced the cop and he gave me the Mutumbo finger wag that I posted about on FB. I couldn't help but smile and laugh after that. That's the one thing I don't like about SRM. I'll just have to learn to not throw it in neutral... in the end, it's my fault.

Stopped by a friends house who was working to get his car done for a local dirt track. Absolutely no urge to jump in and work on it. I was driving my ZL1 so that probably made it easier.

Keep in mind I'm not 20 something. We put the important things (houses, savings, investing, etc) before the fun stuff in the early years. Now it's paying off in spades.

Good planing, and having goals are essential.

Many of you guys are much further ahead of me when I was your age. Stay the course.

Needless to say my other half thought/still thinks its stupid but my money so

at the time I wasn't ready to move to bigger house as I needed to finish my apprenticeship and get my license so I would be fully established before moving into a larger more expensive home. But I had the money to buy the Z

Started the day doing some painting on my second floor. Needed some supplies so I went for a home depot run in the Z. Took me twice as long as usual (Zs fault) and when I got back home I decided it was too nice of a day to continue painting so I got myself a beer and called it a day. Eventually itll get done. Procrastination ftw

I know this all too well. The drywall in my man cave has been ready to be sanded for a couple months now. Maybe I'll get to it next winter.
