Deadmau5 (electronic music) describes dubstep as a culture of people who forgot the volume knob and turned the music so high past the range of their amps and speakers its distorted to h3ll.

1. I think my speedometer is off.
2. The body shop is going to love dealing with me and the cracked paint on my fender.
3. How many wash mits do you guys use each time?

Was using SpeedView Pro for android to track my speed. I know it is not 100% correct, but would a 5-6 MPH difference be something to look into? Example: Speedometer reads 81, app says 75.

Interesting. Get a buddy to ride next to you and set their cruise at x mph, and you the same to test.

Most speedometers are off about 3-5% at highway speeds (and they usually read high not low)

You should check out some of the detail vids on the forum, lots of info. For example even Junkman2000 is a good place to start you will find that on this forum

Then if there is also anyone else who is serious into detail, they should check out autopia.org a detailing forum. LOTS OF STUFF, hope you have time on your hands :rofl2: I am addicted to detailing, mainly sealants, polishing and waxes :yum:

For me I use two wash mits one for the top down to around my door handles not the full door as well as the hood and trunk, then I use the other mit for the rest of the door, bumper and wheels

Hope your other issues get fixed ASAP

As a fellow Griot's whore, I use their lambs wool mini mitt for the wheels, a netted sponge for the wheel wells, and rocker panels, and a brush for the tires. All of this with a bucket of soapy water with a grit guard in the bottom.

Once the lower section of the car is done, I empty and clean the bucket and refill it with soap and water. I then use a Griot's microfiber mit for the body, starting at the top and working my way down - roof and windows, hood, sides and finaally the frint and rear bumpers. Same sequence for drying.

Back to work.

Have a great day all. :tiphat:

Cool stuff here: Watch the Wonderful Mechanics of a DSLR Shutter in Super Slow Motion

Seeing how much the mirror bounces emphasizes why mirror lockup is a good tool for those long, zoomed night exposures.
