Sorry to hear about your cousin. Good thing that he is able to get things in order. My brother in law died very suddenly at 28 leaving alot for my sister to straighten out.

Good Morning Everyone! :hello:

I'm still milling over whether to buy the used Scion xA. I'll take a look at it today. It literally looks like a car "driven by a little old lady". Impeccable service records, reasonable mileage for it's age (56k miles in 7 years), and from the pictures what appears to be a dent and scratch-free body. Dealer put on new tires, brakes, battery, and windshield.

I'm just not a used car guy, but that's just the OCD kicking in. I do have a request for a quote out to my Honda guy on a Fit, but we are talking another $7k - $8k for something that will have to be parked out on the street, used for all long-term and hazardous parking duties, and will be the general "crap car" for mrs gurney and me.

I'll keep you guys posted on how the test drive goes today.

Have a great day all! :tiphat:

I LOVE that car. If the G37 coupe had managed to maintain the same proportions, I'd still have mine. Perfect car for me would have been my G37S drivetrain and interior covered with a G35 body shell.

he told us " we are passed the point of tears, no more of that, I've accepted it and making the most of the days left I have, and getting all affairs in order, my funeral is already paid for, the tombstone is paid for ...all that, its time to have a good time with the time I have! the estate and will are all done also. mr.gurney- GL on the xA! the fit is great for a beater car, but im sure the xA is more than capable of handling most of daily tasks. i think mr.zman has a xD that he uses as dd and winter car. :)

my older fit (09') has been taking a lot of beating from the salty weather and my abusive dog-damn-i-hate-AT--driving, wife's driving, downtown valet's, etc. i rarely wash the thing and the engine bay looks like a gas station restroom out in a rural area with a bare light bulb, moth, and edible grasshoppers jumping around. :icon14: but the car has no leaks, and runs great. ofcourse, inside the car is nice and clean... :icon17:

outside :icon14:
engine bay: :barf:

dang, sorry to hear. :( i hate meetings too unless it's with people that are prepared. most often im sitting there repeating what ive already summarized earlier in an email or conversation. big waste of time.

unless it's at a client's place meeting i prefer not having too many meetings.
