After I have everything installed, I was setting up the HU and I saw that "Remote On/Off", so I thought since I don't have a remote I can just leave it "off".

Apparently, the ASWC IS the remote... took me a good hour to figure out WTF is going on...!!

:bowrofl::bowrofl:

However, I remember I have to connect a resistor to one of the wire... I can ask my friend see if he remembers what kind of resistor...

Or the "search" should be able to help :tup:

mr.alcheng- :tup: yah, im not worried about soldering a resistor with the aswc. :) i had to solder 2 resistors on my PAC installs and manually program each of the commands in sequence.

the only benefit i see with the aswc vs pac is that aswc is not HU manufacturer specific (for instance with pac i need to buy one that works with pioneer or sony... kenwood will not work).

i think the commands with the steering controls needs to be manually programmed like PAC unless it'a super popular car like a civic or something. and that's not a big deal for me to program it. :D

I remember they do come with a list of brands, and you just have to choose which one to program and the auto-program will do...

But true, I know it should be a piece of cake to you... :tup::tup:

:tup: unlike the Z, the Fit's stereo comes off with only one screw removed. :tup: just lots of pulling and swearing. :icon17:

Guess who still doesn't have a working shower? :ugh2:

At least the wife is pissed now, too, instead of just me. She actually told me this morning "I should have let you fire them when you wanted to back in February." :bowrofl:

At least it's almost Z weather... A few more good rains, and the next 50-degree-day she's coming out of hibernation.

A family friend (since 1970) who was a big famous Naval Aviator and a USN Captain worked on putting together the Navy's 'Cold War Gallery' at the Washington Navy Yard. He hired a professional model builder to make scale models of famous navy planes flown over the years. He was also an acquaintance of Neil Armstrong and he took this picture of Neil a year before his death. He's holding an F9F Panther model -- it is the same markings as the one he flew in the Korean War. I think it's a great shot.

Some of us are in the 50's club. I don't want to mention any names because I do not wish to embarrass Ms. BC. (or myself)
