Same thing with the hatch, just have to remove the plastic panels. Just spray, stick, smooth, and shrink.

Anyone have any suggestions or reasons why I'm crazy?

Ever done tint before? I did it in one of the houses my wife and I lived in...it's no walk in the park. I'm just sayin'. Course....that's just my opinion. :tiphat:

Nope! I was thinking about getting some of that $15 crap from Walmart to practice on. I've watched videos on how to do it, and I have all the tools. Of course I could just be screwing myself out of $75 when I mess the tint up lol. Idk...

That's another good point though, I want to put some on my house windows as well.

hi mr. alcheng :tup: hope you're back soon. :D

yep, i was using a tiny sandisk one just like that on my Z. :tup: but this time since i wired the usb to the center console, i want the larger one so i dont accidentally drop it into the nooks. :icon17:

so i placed couple of orders for my fit's stereo install. i had to get the fm harness, wireharness, aswc (first time trying this thing.. :ugh2: i usually use PAC), and some inner trim pieces for a honda passport.

i still need to order the factory bezel, the brackets... i think i can reuse the torx screws i took off the Z. :icon17:

and im still undecided if i want to use the pioneer HU i pull out of the Z, or get the AVIC... hummm...

yah, that revD is only a time bomb. it will eventually fail again. best you pull the fuse or cut brown wire now. :tup:

fuse has been gone for months :tup: the reason I'm probably not on the recall is the replacement part is likely the same revision already in my vehicle :ugh2:

Huck 03-12-2013 01:41 PM

I still need to pull my fuse... I've been lazy. It's probably aided by the fact that I know I have my extended warranty so they will still have to replace it for free if it goes bad.

Sounds good Mr.kenchan... hopefully the USB is not too big or will get into the way of your arm/elbow. :icon17:

The ASWC is very easy to setup, the auto mode, however, is either a hit or miss, try the auto-program first, if you have problem then go with the manual-mode, make sure the "remote" feature on the HU is "On"

Otherwise it won't work... :icon17:

Regarding the old HU, why not putting it in the new Fit?? You use that everyday in Winter, make the ride more enjoyable.. :tup:

I did a firmware upgrade yesterday and this "bug" appear and make the phone very hot and drain battery like crazy... :icon14:

Looks like it's fine now, putting stuffs back into the SD card and have to observe it a bit.

Yes.. seems the update is not doing anything positive except some extra not-a-must features. :ugh2:

I am getting a new phone soon, thinking between the Samsung or the HTC :tup:

Sorry, no iphone... :icon18::icon18:

Might as well have them replace it thus you have a new unit.. in case for the trade-in in the future. :icon17:

:icon17: Mr.kenchan, don't worry about the ASWC, it works flawlessly after it's programmed... :tup:

After I have everything installed, I was setting up the HU and I saw that "Remote On/Off", so I thought since I don't have a remote I can just leave it "off".

Apparently, the ASWC IS the remote... took me a good hour to figure out WTF is going on...!!

:bowrofl::bowrofl:

However, I remember I have to connect a resistor to one of the wire... I can ask my friend see if he remembers what kind of resistor...

Or the "search" should be able to help :tup:
