mr.gale- :D hahahaha, yah, and he's an arsehole too imo. undermine my DIY like that? wtf. :shakes head:

mr. alcheng- i created that thread, how to replace a failed lock. he has his own thread about the fuse pull. i already mentioned in my thread long time ago to check out the other options such as fritz's brown wire cut, or the fuse pull for the known permanent fix. i just dont know the long term effect of those 2 options.

loled@ only understanding med english. that's a benefit imo. :D sometimes best NOT to know. :icon17:

hello, mr.zman- sounds good that you are keeping busy with new career! hope all is going well and people are nice.

goodam, ms. bc!

taffyapples are not middle-aged sort of rounded people, im talking waay over weight and those that can't support themselves and rely on government (rest of us) for help. i hate those that expect others to help and take things for granted. if they're seriously trying to get themselves out of taffyappleland, then i wouldn't mind helping. But there needs ot be a goal and roadmap to recovery. i dont think they know what those terms mean. :ugh2:

lol@ mr.mu pmessy moods. :rofl2:

:tiphat: everything is great so far

duh!

I am happy to report I am at a healthy 11.4 reps per post

Assuming a rep point total somewhere in the neighborhood of 69,500 Mu has a lowly 2.0 reps per post :stirthepot:

mr.gale- that is my thought exactly in both counts.

Hey whats going on fellas? Hey I got question for you guys..

I just bought a new shift knob, and I've been told the oem shift knob is a complete pain to get off, any ideas on how to get it off without destroying it?

here is another thing, I never post a single line to ask for rep. I receive reps from BOTH 1) useful posts. 2) respect from my buddies in here.

mmm.... now I understand the reason behind the low rep-score of yours.... 1) not too many useful posts thus not many reps can be granted. 2) not too many friends or respect....

:iagree: thats best choice. Also use another wrench to hold the shifter stem because you don't want to twist that!

Oh yeah! Great point Zman! I did twist it slightly (though I could tell as soon as it did and I stopped before continuing using a second wrench). I actually had problems for about a week with the shift knob slipping out of 2nd gear before I let off the clutch  I managed to twist it back a bit and haven't had any problems since
