mr.jar- that coolant is suppose to be chanced at 4yrs? someone mentioned this to me on another thread. my G runs the old green coolant and that was to be replaced every 4yrs and 2yrs after that (drain/fill). i thought the Z's blue coolant lasted much longer.

can you tell me where the release valve (cap) is located on the Z's hose? thanks.

Morning Ken Yes, the blue stuff is recommended change at 105K miles or 7 years according to the manual. The manual also claims that mixing any other coolant (including the green Nissan stuff) decreases the life of the original, factory-filled fluid.

I believe the pressure release valve is the radiator cap itself (IIRC it is rated to somewhere around 19.5 psi).
