Morning all. Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Sunday planned. No new snow out here, but i found a layer of salt on the roads this morning... Never understood why

Morning all. Hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Sunday planned.
No new snow out here, but i found a layer of salt on the roads this morning...  Never understood why they add more salt if the roads are dry and it's sunny outside. Now we have salt drifts floating around, and it makes your nose sting when you breath in that air  .
