I ordered the Evo-R front/rear Z emblems just now.

Here's hoping everything goes smoothly. Black emblems with unpainted backing to color match. I've even talked to Daisuke to get the emblems finished in black chrome - it shouldn't be too expensive, but I think I'm going to wait until I get him to do door handles for me at the same time.

Aww, mann... it ain't like that! My Ranger is a 2000 with 145K miles on it. It's in really good shape and was well maintained, but it still qualifies as a $3,000 paid-in-cash beater.

Me, I love the idea of taking my Z on a ski trip, equipped with snow tires and a roof rack. I'm likely going to get a trunk rack for my S2000 for trips when the trunk space is not enough. All my cars see snow. All my cars serve as pickup trucks from time to time... that's how I roll and I love it.

Can I live with my Z as a daily driver? Sure! But it's easier to go to Costco in the truck

I just always get a laugh out of the hardcore folks who seem to get really upset if they see people using their Zs as anything but Sunday drivers. Whenever we see a bike rack thread it turns into a flame fest.
