apparently all the media said was not true in CT, no downed lines, homes destroyed, only minimum rain. Seems the news casters were wrong for the 100th time.

hope the same for nyers heard they got hit hard have a few ppl down there.

Long Island, Queens, and lower Manhattan got the worst of it. All the streets around my building were flooded last night, but the water receded by early this morning. I checked out the office in Mt. Vernon, and there was no damage....just no power. Lots of debris all over the Bronx and a lot of traffic lights are out. I will not be back on the roads, because all this will cause some major stupidity.

Glad we were able to make it out this storm. We got it pretty bad in LI. So many huge trees came down shutting down roads and power lines are on the ground. Power will be out for a while. What a storm it was!
