Not to mention some of us have body armor on us, not in the car. 3A panels for back packs and other bags have become economical and don't add too much weight. A 3A panel isn't as good as a full vest but its a lot better than nothing.

Agreed, I have two sets of body armor leftover from back in the day. It is always good to be prepared!
