Can't use any rifle that is discontinued. They have to look up the price to make sure it falls under the $1050 limit. I have a Mossberg 22LR target rifle that doesn't qualify. Plus they discourage tube magazines. 10 round clips for quick reloading. The 10/22 won't cut it. The Ruger Precision 22lr and rifles like that are preferred.
