Was it CVN-65? Actually it would have been CVA-65 back then. I served on the Big E (CVN-65) too. It is crazy how long she was around. It was possible for 3 generations of a family to have served on her.

It was sad seeing her start to be decommissioned but, it was time.

Can't wait to see the next Enterprise, CNV-80, be built.
