You can buy all the other pieces you need to finish the gun off the inter webs or from a friendly gun store that sells parts. Primarily, this is for AR platform guns. I have built a .45 from parts, I still had to fill out a 4473 to get the frame. Everything else, I paid cash for at gun shows, by mail, etc.


If you go the 80% route, know this, you won't be able to sell it. The BATFags object strenuously to people selling unserialized weapons....
