Yeah, this is literally the worst place I have ever been. The only thing is that I love my job and the pay is stellar. I'm buying all my class 3 toys, etc now, and when I move all ill have is rent and a car note. Want to put 1/2 down on 30-40 acres, pay it off in a year, and build a house the next year if I'm still liking fayetteville. Would love to do vtac barracade drills in my back yard.

Known as "Shrevepit" in my house, or just "The Pit". But I lived in Arkansas once long ago. Didn't see much difference other than the scenery--that and a personal property tax. I don't know what the gun laws are now but when I was there it was illegal to carry a loaded weapon in your car unless you were "traveling". Louisiana was more respectful of individual rights in that respect.

Speaking of which. Have had the Z about 7 weeks now and still can't figure out where to keep a car gun in it. Could put a snubby in the glove box but leaning over to get it in a pinch is a "tell" that could get me hurt. Same with reaching behind the passenger seat which is also problematic due to a bad shoulder (unless there is some way to secure it down low)
Thought about attaching a left handed holster to the shiny cross bar under the seat which would be ready at hand without being obvious but that seems dangerous in an accident--might break loose and fly up under my feet. Could put a mouse gun or subcompact in the center console but don't own one that small and it isn't a good time to be a buyer now. Prefer large frame revolver or full size semi-auto. What is left? Do I need to get a permit and just hang it on myself? Any ideas? |

I like Arkansas laws, they are much more class three friendly. I have a ccw and that's all you need to carry loaded in the vehicle. |

Ny is insanely beautiful, but the laws there are crap. I'm headed to Fayetteville, ar, myself. If you like big cities it wont work, but I like smaller, layed back, mellow, and lots of greenery and streams. U of A keeps the town fresh.
