The rifling in the barrel is conventional, not polygonal like the PM9. Which should mean nothing since it's not a long-distance shooter.

I have a buddy with the Kahr. He's had some feeding problems with some ammo. He's a cop (and Glock/AR armorer), bought it for a BUG but doesn't feel it's reliable enough yet for carry. From a practical standpoint, very little difference in carry convenience between these single stack pistols. I firmly believe that the problem is thickness rather than grip or barrel length. As I've mentioned before, I'm pretty confident of the PPS, although I grant you it's more expensive.
