Anyone here into firearms?

i live in LA county. I asked a gun store about CCW and they gave me a reason that there's too many cops in this county so they feel there's no reason for citizens to have the need for CCW which is why you can't get it.

I just took my HSC test today and one of the questions was about CCW. I got the answer right when i chose something like "it is impossible to get CCW"

Brings to mind the old joke:

-Q: "Why do you carry a gun?
-A: "Because a police officer is too heavy."

Or the other old saying about carrying a gun..."When seconds count, the police are only minutes away".

The last one is my favorite because it's so true. Unless you're super lucky the cops are almost never there when you need them.
