-Breaching barrel
-Picatinny rail
-SightMark QD Ultra
-Collapsible ATI Stock
-Fore-end Strap
-Shell SaddleBag (only three shots there cuz I need to go buy more lol)

I wanted to get another eotech... but thought (wow I'm not made of money....) and went with another brand. I took a bit of a gamble getting this reddot (original price 150. I found it for 100 after sum intense googling lol). This SightMark has held up to several hundred rounds of 12g. Keeps zero pretty darn well, but I can honestly say it is no eotech. But then again neither is the price. Its a reflex sight, not a holo.

m4a1mustang 06-26-2011 10:47 PM

How do you like the ATI stock? Im reading mixed reviews on ATI in general. I only paid like 350 for the gun so honestly I don't care if I have designer **** on it or not, Ijust want it to work and be reliable.

SgtGoldy 06-26-2011 10:53 PM

it hurts.... lol. Not forgiving at all. If you want an awesome shotty stock, blackhawk is where its at IMO. I have shot the blackhawk stock and its felt recoil is minimal. But the ATI... man you feel it all haha. But its cheap so, I guess thats the upside

Isamu 06-26-2011 11:54 PM

it's like modding your car, you can't be cheap fast and reliable... lol

btw, thats a nice looking set up Sarge

thank ya sir. Yea, the stock came with the shotty. I really wanna get the blackhawk, but I just haven't gotten around to it. But if anyone needs a whatever reddot for their shotty, go with SightMark. It works great, plus its a shotty... Your not goin for pinpoint accuracy. Eotech is the way to go for rifles.

^ nice

eddieconfetti 06-27-2011 04:16 PM

i used to have a glock 23. but it got too big for me to carry and keeping it concealed. whats a good pistol thats small but has a comfortable grip and ez to conceal. and it has to look good.

eddieconfetti 06-27-2011 04:16 PM

love the glock though. they are great.

Glock 26 if you want to stay with Glocks
http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx300/MB370Z/26.gif

I recommend the Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact
http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...1287656795.jpg

A buddy of mine has this pistol for his daily CCW and with no issues

eddieconfetti 06-27-2011 05:22 PM

i didnt like the small glocks. half of my hand hangs out. horrible grip. my friend has smith and wesson m&p40. love that. prefect size for carry. only thing i dont like about it is the recoil. i think i prefer a 40 over a 9.

Robert_K 06-27-2011 05:39 PM

G36 /end. No grip issues and its a .45ACP. Own one and love it! Perfect for IWB concealment.

Isamu 06-27-2011 05:54 PM

I still like the FN FiveseveN

I also have the S&W 340 and you are right about the recoil. They are smaller than the G26. There is no grip for your pinky. I originally bought as a CCW but I can't hit shiit with that damn thing.

They are nice and I would love to have one but I can't see myself spending 1k+ for a pistol and 50 cents per round. Also, good luck trying to find 5.7 ammo since FNH is the only one that makes it.

kdo2milger 06-27-2011 06:24 PM

what s a good subcompact 40 cal? i like the xd sub-compact but it may be a bit big for concealment...

Robert_K 06-27-2011 06:30 PM

Look at the Walther PPS in .40 cal - much thinner than the Glock. I couldn't hack the stubby grip on the G26 and its lack of 5th finger support. Especially in .40, you want to make sure you can manage the recoil with only a partial grip.

Isamu 06-28-2011 02:55 AM

anyone have any fire experience with the H&K P30L?

Ben, the link is dead but I think I have an idea of what you're talking about.

I just think it's hilarious looking at some of the tactical setups on Shotgun world. Guys with $500+ optics on a $350 scatter gun. :icon17:

Right now I'm trying to decide if I like the look of the M4 style stocks on a shotgun. I like them mainly for ease in adjustment for different shooters. It's either the Knoxx Spec-Ops stock or the Hogue 12" LOP stock. I feel like the stock stock is too long for defensive shooting.

I checked the PPS out at the gun shop over the weekend. It is very thin, almost awkwardly so. It's a very nice piece, though.

m4a1mustang 06-28-2011 04:48 PM

I think this looks sick:

Totally unnecessary, but still sick.

Unnesessary?! :gtfo2: LOL

XDs are sweet and have a fantastic reputation. I was set on getting the XD9SC before I bought my G26. I rented one at the range and didn't quite like the way it felt shooting. The Glock pointed better in my hand. But the XD is still an awesome gun. I'd go check one out if I were you.

Well I did order a Tacstar 6-shell side saddle for it last night. I figure I'll go ahead and order one of the pistol grip folding stocks tonight.

The problem with the subcompacts is you don't get a full three-finger grip unless you have a pinky extension on the mag, so recoil can be more difficult to manage than you'd expect.

I only have the G26 so it's not as snappy as a .40, but even still it takes a bit of practice to get used to shooting with the short grip. But after time with it it doesn't bother me at all. My GF, though, hates shooting it without the pinky extensions.

looks like one of the mags with the xd gear is an extended mag, is this what your talking about?

heres a better pic of the magazine

m4a1mustang 06-28-2011 05:37 PM

Yeah that's one of the extended mags. I think they also make the pinky extensions that don't add extra rounds for the XDs.
