When I open a box of WWB .44Mag or my .50AE ammo boxes and I slide the ammo out and see all the brass or the hollow points (respectively), a shít eating grin and happiness comes across my face, lol |

Yeah, I ordered two from PSA back during the Black Friday sale (Midlength flat-top with fixed FSB and "regular" handguards) for gifts and it took me over a month and a half for PSA to deliver both. Now I need the BCG's.

I bought 7 CA off list AR's in September for $375 each. I would not pay $475 like the guy wanted and he countered with $375, so I bought them as who would want CA lowers with "bullet buttons" or paddles over the grips, so as to render them non pistol gripped. I primarily bought them for the uppers.
I tried to sell one for $700 and could not. I have now sold them all, most for $1100, one scoped model I got $1800. Somebody else, who feared confiscation, sold me two more Vietnam era, no forward assist Colt uppers with off list lowers. They went just as fast. I do feel that nationally, guns will be OK. But in places like CA, NY, etc. It will get worse.

a. eventually running suppressed b. Don't like the idea that cleaning is IMPERATIVE after use. c. Don't like heat on the bolt. (don't care what DI fanboys claim either) Heat= increased wear on a vital component d. During these times, getting an M4 build operational takes some compromises e. Running the Right length piston system can keep a gun fairly balanced. f. Don't believe the hype. Magpul fore-end handguard help increase balance and cut heat from the front. g. Carrier tilt? BS and ancient. Dont get me started. Last edited by UNKNOWN_370; 01-29-2013 at 11:47 PM. |

Piston guns are fine. The design is a good solution to a problem that really doesn't exist, but they're a completely viable weapon system. A friend of mine actually created a line of piston guns (Huldra). I've spent a lot of time talking with him and his technical director (who is also my primary instructor). I still don't own one even though I could get one at cost any time I want. OTOH, he has a new sister line of DI guns coming out (Korstog .. http://www.facebook.com/korstogarms?ref=ts&fref=ts ) |
