I was looking into it but what i read made me not to buy one. This was last year and hopefully they might of solved their issues. Please let me know how it works out for you. I'm really curious. ![]() Quote:

I can imagine that last year there were issues. It was introduced in the 2011 shot show and it's 70% proprietary parts. I hope customer service is better than what you've heard? Main reason why I want this particular AR is that it's design truly addresses every weakness of the "Piston AR". But damn, the frenzy is on... Most sites I go into, they are out of 90% of the good AR's I did however find an SR556. Anyone have experience with the Ruger SR556? I hear not very accurate compared to other platforms but still very solid. Last edited by UNKNOWN_370; 12-18-2012 at 02:01 PM. |

If you want to go with the standard in ARs, I would also recommend Colt. |

i decided to go with S&W M&P sport AR-15.. it had good reviews and shoots both the .223 and the 5.56 nato... just waiting for cabelas to have them back in stock.. almost every gun store i called was out of stok of AR'S and the ones they had left were over $2000. so i hope cabelas gets some in before this ban happens...

If you want to depend on it for anything other than plinking I would stay away from Bushmaster. They aren't exactly a leader in quality or reliability, and I'm not really sure how well these composite ARs run.
For not too much money you can get into an entry level Colt, BCM, Daniel Defense, Spikes Tactical, etc. that you can put through hell if need be.

Because of the Republican house we're probably fairly safe in that they won't allow an AWB to pass. I'm more concerned about what the White House will do administratively. How much can they get away with via executive order? Could the EPA hit us with lead ammo regulation? Who knows.

Hey people...the term "assault weapon" is a term made up by politicians. Yes an "assault rifle" is a class of rifle. |

Ordered some 9mm to stock up on. Couldn't find any Gold Dots at my usual place so I got some HST instead. I should be fine.
