Go buy 5,000 rounds of .223 and shoot it over the next year. Take at least one defensive carbine course. THEN let's have the discussion about which ammo will kill a human best. Until then, save your money. You're going to be far more likely to just put a lot of expensive ammo past your attacker's 10-ring.

I agree, except when it comes to barriers. In 5.56, you really REALLY need bonded ammo if you plan to encounter them.

As for me, VTAC Carbine 1.5 this November, scheduled for Streetfighter this coming April, not sure what's after that. As always, put them where it matters as quick as possible!

Bought 5K rounds of PMC XTAC M193 a few days ago. It's going up in price and hard to find. I need 2K of that for a course this coming April, and 1K of that is a gift for two of my friends this christmas to go along with the PSA 16" midlength uppers I bought them (contingent upon them buying properly assembled lowers, which they did.)

The other 2K are for keeping along with 1K rounds of MK318 SOST and about 1K rounds of 64gr Gold Dot. Finally got someone to put a few 64g Gold Dots into some deer for me. It's very nasty stuff.

I switched my NRA membership to a lifetime membership & Dec 26th I will order my M4 rifle. I was holding out for spring to get a specific 6.8 AR but i will probably have to settle for 5.56 and convert it later, if parts arent banned???

Exactly why I ordered mine as well. Was going to wait till tax return but had to order today. Guess car part will come from tax return now.

I'm glad I already got my BCM. I am good on mags I could just use some extra ammunition to store.

I will buy the 6.8 barrel and bolt when they be come available. Hopefully I will also find a.300 blkout barrel that will fit this platform????

Will be ordering mags, ammo and such in advance. ALL future car mods on hold till next year. Arsenal must be fed.
