I paid $1,200 for my Ingram MAC 10 45ACP. Now I could sell it for about $8,000.

Here's a link to full auto gun prices.

North Dakota

It is legal in North Dakota to carry a loaded concealed firearm without a permit.Even Liberals are packing in this state.

Some dude let me shoot his MG42 at the Ben Avery Shooting range in Arizona. Gave him a few hundred rounds of 30-06 for his Garand as a thank you. He also had an auto AK pistol and an AR. I cringe thinking how much money he dumped in those three firearms alone.

Prices of the full auto's really shot up. A Lightning Link (drop in auto sear) for an AR is $17,000.:eek::eek: It's just a piece of bent sheet metal. :shakes head:

Mine is full auto.

Ghostvette 08-03-2018 12:54 PM

Mine was the SA version and I found a couple of ways to make it full auto, one 'legally', one not so much... :ugh2:

Yeah, when reloading. Don't seat the primer all the way down. And install a weak firing pin spring. Let the firing pin bounce off of the high primer. Yeahhhh, I tried that. :rofl2:

Would you do that with 223? Only handgun I reload is 45acp. 9mm is cheap enough to keep myself from the pain of reloading. Mostly 223 and 30-06

bunk 08-03-2018 04:17 PM

No failure to feed with a high primer?

In my younger days. I did it to a Mini 14, and a 9mm pistol. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. Then I read about it. If the bolt is not fully closed. It will be a big problem in a short period of time..

I reload for just about everything and everyone.

bunk 08-03-2018 05:00 PM

Yeah, handloads are something I dont want to mess with. I saw a video of some clowns at in indoor range rapid firing an AR with handloads. The AR blew up in the guys face from bad loads! Of the many thousands of rounds Ive loaded, Ive only had maybe 2 Failure to feed on my 1911, but that was from the cheap 8rd mag. And a few failure to eject from my AR. *fingers crossed* (and intact) haha

I've been reloading since 1978. The number of issues I had. I can count on one hand. I've had more issues with factory loads. Especially the the overseas stuff. Primers in backwards, bullets sitted too deep, or not enough, no powder, boxes marked wrong. :rofl2:

bunk 08-03-2018 05:22 PM

lol... Bad reloads during actual loading..thats a different story! I have a Lee Loadmaster and Ive lost count of how many thousands of bad primer loads that thing made. That press is so bad that I pretty much use it as a single stage. yea, i should get a dillon. those things are so smooth

If you are going progressive. The Dillion is the way to go.

The BAR I made an offer on is well above 17K

Californias 9th circus court of appeals is upholding the bullet stamping law.. No new handguns in Ca that cannot microstamp the handguns s/n onto bullet casings..

How is this going to work if you reload the same caliber for different guns. The casing would have so many different stampings that you couldn't read them. :rofl2: And what about picking up some range brass?

jwick 08-05-2018 12:51 PM

Anyone here into firearms?

Good points but the common criminal is not going to be reloading their own Ammo and likely never even step foot on a gun range for practice.

bunk 08-06-2018 06:33 AM

Id be scared of someone picking up MY brass and dumping it around a crime scene...too easy for a set up.

most of these gun control laws make absolutely ZERO sense. Just turns good citizens into criminals if they dont know the laws and violates these dumb ones.
However I can assure you that close to no criminals will be following any of these dumb laws.. maybe theyre the smart ones...

Rusty, check this out.... 9 rounds from my brothers .22 Henry Repeater at 50 yards.. Its a 5.5" Target, so my shot group was about 1/2". Probably the most consistent rifle Ive fired, specially with Iron Sights, not to mention lever action!

It's stamping from the pin to the primer and on the breechface to the case. It seems the state is just passing the buck to the people since there are already ways of identifying shells and cases to weapons in the lab. I wouldn't worry too much about some criminal scattering your spend cases at a crime scene because they can just as easily drop a soda can with prints and dna on it.

Nice grouping

I'm thinking about letting Mrs. BoneZ carry my G19 and getting a G30 for my carry. Not 100% sure yet.

Wifey carries a 380 BodyGuard or a 9mm Shield. Depending on which handbag she is using. :shakes head:

My only suggestion is that she carry something that fits her hand and she's comfortable with shooting.

On the subject of 'what do you carry?' SIG P229 in 357 SIG.....

DPMS 308 custom build as the car rifle....

I'm considering an AR pistol in 300 BLK for the car gun, but I have to consider that a pistol is used to get back to your rifle.... :icon17:

dts3 11-29-2018 08:33 AM

I put together an AR pistol in 300 blackout. It's a blast to shoot.

I think it would be cool to do, but too expensive to shoot a lot for me. I would just stick with the .223 and off it when you get bored.

https://palmettostatearmory.com/ sure had some good deals for AR parts black friday this year.

I ran across a 500 box of .22 wildcat in a can I put away a long time ago.
$1.49 sticker on the side.
I lol with my kid.

I reload all my rounds so it helps keep costs down somewhat (although I eventually offset the cost savings by going to the range more often). I don't really push any of the loads too hot other than my 45lc for my Blackhawk

Thought I was the only crazy person. I reload on a Dillon XL650 but I have'nt cranked on it in awhile. Best part is I get all the brass from the range at work in exchange for taking a few of the buckets that frangible ammo comes in. Win win.
