Why did you choose your forum name?

Can't fault a guy for searching, even if he digs up an old thread.

While I'm here...

I had a '76 280Z with a SBC... it was pretty quick, so I figured "Demon Z" was an appropriate plate for it. I later used it on my '05 350Z and now my 370Z too, continuing the Z car tradition. And since I needed a user name for a Z forum when I got the 350, it seemed like the obvious choice.

I went to Clemson and my name is Will. And most importantly it was available with Gmail.

I was looking for something generic that wouldn't tie this forum name to my 4,536 other unrelated online personas. At the time I was going through a retro Portishead music phase (I think that was 90% of the music coming out of my new 370Z the first couple months after I bought it), so I stole "wstar" from their song "Wandering Star". It also kinda fit because my previous fun-car was a WS6 Trans Am.

My life has been upside down during the last 3 months. Lost my job, lost my apartment, gf cheated on me and we split, and had to sell nearly everything I had to buy myself a 370Z Because it was what I always wanted and I knew it was the very last and only thing that could make me happy and whole again.

Until one day I decided to gave myself and the car a second chance.

I was in Afghanistan when I registered on the the forum and my car was ordered but not delivered yet. I was going to get the custom license plate that said "wheee" but it was taken when I got back from tour. Too Late..... but the name stuck!
