I once challenged a non seat-belt wearing passenger to stay in their seat while I drove - they lost. Now they always wear the seat-belt, at least when I'm driving.

Its automatic the moment I sit in the car, always on. Feels weird otherwise.

However when I sit in the backseat of cars, I believe we are supposed to be wearing them too but I must admit I never wear one in the back seat

I like my face inside not outside the windshield so this is a given....

Hey these things happen sometimes of course they don't say it in the story, but he was actually thrown out of the truck and when it rolled it crushed his head and half his body. He's not the only friend I've lost to a seat belt related accident, so I always buckle up, and I think about them every time I do.

Always buckle up. No exceptions. I do find myself buckling up after I take off a few feet but I always do it.

Ive gotten much bett about it. When i was younger i was pretty bad with seat belts but now ill usually put it on just to turn off the ugly red light on the dash

In short, i very rarely drive without it these days

If my wife is sitting on me... Well then, no, I won't buckle-up.

Ever since I posted on this thread, I will admit, I wear my seatbelt a whole lot more.
