When I was in high school I was a passenger in a friends car that got t-boned. I specifically remember the seat belt going taught a spit second before my head was about to go through the passenger window. The seat belt most likely saved my life once already. There's no reason to stop using it now.

I hardly ever use it. It's not even a safety issue, it's only a revenue generator for the .gov. Besides, I don't need one for my streetbike and I'm generally safer in my car.

I don't know how much of this can be mitigated with modern airbag systems, but I do know that you are safer with a belt on than not. |

i always wear mine. doesn't feel right without it, too much movement.
i have a friend who never wears his, and drives around with the damn car beeping at him since it's not buckled. makes me real uncomfortable to be a passenger when he's driving.

I have for a long time now, but only after I was almost thrown through a windshield. My friend Sam just died a few weeks ago from not wearing a seatbealt. Buckle up

state law says click it or ticket. I do it more for safety then for getting a ticket though.

I wear mine 99% of the time unless I am driving my truck up to the corner liqour store from the office after work (2 blocks on sidestreets) I will ALWAYS wear it if actually driving no matter how short the drive.
