Nexus phone is 100% Google so no need to root it honestly. Though are you on Verizon? You are missing one feature, though the hardware is still included, Google Wallet.

Though are you on Verizon? You are missing one feature, though the hardware is still included, Google Wallet. Give it a search, you can enable it without rooting the phone but you may not need it.
