Yup. Rounded 1 on each side. On so tight that my socket was shaving the metal on the nut.

What brand socket?

My HF sockets have been rounding nuts since the dawn of time. Haven't once experienced it with my Snap-On sockets. Having similar issues with my 1/4 drive allen bits. Finally got some Gearwrench ones that don't round off like the HF ones do.

Happy Saturday everyone! Bought a bike last week so I can shed some of this winter/covid fat. Had to assemble it and then took it out for a spin yesterday. One mile out and my legs were burning (got a little over zealous with the gears). I think Ill trade it in for an Ebike.

Yep. Autobahn 20655 Hawthorne Blvd. Tony is the owner. They've done a bunch of small things on my car. They're right door to the shop that did all the mods on my car (L Spec).

Tekton. First thing they've ever rounded off. I met someone on the forum 5 yrs ago local to me who said he'd help install swift springs. His son then proceeded to uga dugga every nut and bolt housing the shock tower. I'm just now suffering the fallout from it.

Snap-On. Everything else is junk. Their sockets and wrenches will remove nuts and bolts where other won't. When you come here. I have to show you the nut on my cut-off arbor that my Snap-On wrench removes.

Was planning on sleeping in. But got up at 8. Had a guy show up at 9 to get 5 tires that I sold him. 285/70-17's that was the oem tires on my Power Wagon. Now I got a little bit more room in my 5lb garage.

Gotta make due with the cheaper stuff. I'd prefer to have a house mortgage over a tool mortgage. At worst, an extractor or splitter will do the trick and save me a few grand in fancy sockets in cost of a few headaches.

Your thinking is all whacked. A good set of Snap-on sockets and wrenches are cheap compared to all the stupid crap you get into because you fluck chit up.
